ESAB SeAH Corp.'s history reflects its continued commitment to excellence, as well as its passion and willingness to accept new challenges.

ESAB SeAH Corp. started as the first domestic manufacturer of flux cored wire in 1985. It was during this dynamic time that we set our objective of becoming a global welding company. We have continuously strived to provide the most satisfactory outcomes for our customers utilizing our expertise to overcome the obstacles and challenges we face.

1995~2004
  • Jun.2003Acquired ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certification.
  • Sep.2002Awarded Presidential Prize in the ‘National Quality Management Competition’.
  • Sep.2002Chosen as a company with excellent new labor and management culture.
  • Jul.2002Received certification for excellent factories in Korea.
  • Sep.2000Awarded the Presidential Prize at the 'National Quality Management Competition' for the 3rd consecutive year
  • Dec.1999Awarded top prize for achieving $20 million in export sales and the Presidential Prize for export mer i t.
  • Dec.1999Received award at the 'National Labor and Management Harmonization Competition' .
  • Nov.1998Chosen as a top-ranking company for labor and management cooperation.
  • Nov.1998Awarded Gyeogsangnam-do Industrial Peace Prize.
  • May.1998Changed company name to ‘ESAB SeAH Corporation’ from ARKC
  • Jan.1996Established Welding Research Institute.
  • Jul.1995Moved head office and factory to Changwon from Busan.
